 I had the pleasure of photographing not only a fellow photographer but one of my IG friends that just so happened to move from Calgary to Kamloops. We've been friends since our children were just little babies and it was nice to actually meet her and her family in person and capture some special memories for them :) I love that you can see how much love they have for one and other in these images. Kamloops Family Photographer XO CAPTURES | Williams Lake Family Session Autumn 2014 

Whilst I was away visiting family I snuck in a Family Session on Scout Island in Williams Lake. We had a lovely golden hour session which just flew by. The colours of Fall were Sure making themselves known up there! Not so much back home in Kamloops but I'm sure it's not far off. It was New Years Eve and I was at the Curling Club celebrating when I met this wonderful couple through mutual friends. They were engaged on Christmas Eve and were so excited for the upcoming Fall wedding!

 We did Engagment photo's in the snow with mini doughnuts and lego - these two are so laid back and easy going it was a blast to work with them and their wedding was much the same. 

The wedding took place just outside of Kamloops at the Lac Le Jeune Wilderness Resort with its cozy log cabins beautiful views which made for some lovely images. It was a pleasure being a part of their special day and the memories we captured will certainly last  <3

This Gorgeous Mama is expecting her little man any day now! We were aiming for golden hour but boy did we underestimate the swift departure of the sun behind the mountain. We chased the light as best as we could and got some lovely shots of her and her growing family. Looking forward to meeting her little man very soon!

Kamloops Photographer XO CAPTURES | Outdoor Newborn Session { I }

This little sweetheart decided that she wasn't too into sleeping, we captured images of her mostly awake.
However the few moments when she was asleep I managed to get some of my all time favourite newborn images to date!
 I Officially LOVE outdoor Newborn sessions!!!!
It's a bit cold out now with Autumn here and it's brisk cool weather but come Spring Imma be all about the outdoor newborns!
Hope you are as in love with these as I am! Mama wanted to use the same location that we did her Maternity session at, and although we didn't get all the shots we had in mind ( some shots a baby needs to be asleep for ) I'm more then happy with what we did capture!

Beauty portrature { I }

Had a lovely evening with a beautiful young woman from Belize who's here attending TRU. We were going for a summery look and I think we captured some beautiful images. Some I dare say even have a tropical feel to them  ( IMO ). The sun started to set over the hill so we were chasing it up the otherside on the oppositehill and got some lovely warm hazy images as well as some cooler looking ones near the water. Hope you enjoy
