Kamloops Photographer XO CAPTURES | Outdoor Newborn Session { I }

This little sweetheart decided that she wasn't too into sleeping, we captured images of her mostly awake.
However the few moments when she was asleep I managed to get some of my all time favourite newborn images to date!
 I Officially LOVE outdoor Newborn sessions!!!!
It's a bit cold out now with Autumn here and it's brisk cool weather but come Spring Imma be all about the outdoor newborns!
Hope you are as in love with these as I am! Mama wanted to use the same location that we did her Maternity session at, and although we didn't get all the shots we had in mind ( some shots a baby needs to be asleep for ) I'm more then happy with what we did capture!

Beauty portrature { I }

Had a lovely evening with a beautiful young woman from Belize who's here attending TRU. We were going for a summery look and I think we captured some beautiful images. Some I dare say even have a tropical feel to them  ( IMO ). The sun started to set over the hill so we were chasing it up the otherside on the oppositehill and got some lovely warm hazy images as well as some cooler looking ones near the water. sweet little fairy

This past week we celebrated a very special birthday! My little one turned 3! For her birthday we did some fairy photos and got some gorgeous captures! The first image is definitely going on canvas - so in love with the warmth and innocence of it. Here are just a few. enjoy

silhouettes on the lake

Had a wonderful little get away with my daughter up at Williams Lake to visit Nana. 

We had a great time and loved being right on the water, did some paddle boarding. Even the dog joined in and swam out to us to go for a paddle around. 

Took advantage of the beautiful sunset and got some pictures of Miss A with her Nana and took some silhouette photos for the first time.  :)

 I had the opportunity to get some very sweet captures with some fluffy baby chickens and turkeys! I never knew how cute little turkeys were!

A Happy Belated Canada Day to all! lol

Should have posted this a few weeks back but oh well...

After a failed attempt at a Canada Day shoot I had to re think things. I like to keep things simple and looking at my set up I found it was cluttered and took away from my original vision. So I thought about what it was that I really wanted.... to get some cute pictures of Miss A with a bottle of Canada Dry Ginger Ale. SO I took everything else away and went to my favorite spot and BAM! Here are a few of my fav's!
