hello summer

Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine where ever it is that you are. It is now officially SUMMER! And to start the summer off right I decided to make sure I was bringing my "a" game and took enlighten from the milky way- photographers resources by milk & honey which is based on outdoor lighting. I've learned a few thing which I'm excited to apply to my sessions. It's always interesting to see how other photographers run their sessions. As my daughter hasn't been home yet since I began the course I have had to resort to using her stuffed animals. I think I've got some pretty nice results - and they were by far the most behaved subjects I've ever photographed. Very good at holding their poses and they don't run away! lol so here is a sneak peek at a few shots and I will have more this weekend once my muse is home, enjoy.

Had a wonderful time last week capturing some very special moments for a beautiful mama to be!

 We battled mosquito's and even had a few photo bomb the pictures lol but in the end we ended up with some pretty spectacular shots!

 There were some beautiful dark storm clouds all around us and thunder in the distance. The sun shone down on us and created the perfect scene which included a tiny rainbow! So awesome! We lost track of time and were caught up in the moment and beauty of it all. This mama was just glowing as you can see in all her pictures!

And I was happy to try out the new maternity gown that I had help making ( thank you Mémeré ) along with a head piece I made as well.

They looked pretty darn good I thought, I'll have to make some more ;)
