i love lilac's!

One of my favourite times of year is spring. I love the sweet smells of the blossoms and the new life all around. Warm sunny days and t-shirts and sandals. One thing I always look forward to is the lilac's so of course I had to do a few more shots of mini-me before she left for the coast and here is my fav! Hope that you enjoy it as much as I do! xo

Here are a few shots of my sweetpea from earlier this evening. 

My daughter fell asleep beside me as I did my editing smelling the sweet scent of lilac's from our shoot. I've got them in a vase on my bookshelf filling the room with that wonderful spring smell. 

I love lilac's, they always remind me of my Mama and the trees we had in the yard when I was a child. 

They hold fond memories.

I was finally able to use my beautiful Ashleigh maternity wrap from Just Hatched Designs. Here are a few images from the shoot a few weeks back with this beautiful mama {S}, belly and soon to be baby! I cant wait to put it to use again! I also have some more wraps in the works for future shoots. I can't wait! Who doesn't love a beautiful belly! Enjoy xo

a new begining

Hello everyone and welcome to the XO|captures blog.

 Please take note that I am a horrid blogger, my posts are sporadic and yes- this is a completely new blog space. After the life changes I made this past year I decided to change my brand, however; I failed to start fresh on my blog and I came to the realisation that I have 3 google + accounts that people were adding me to and it was far to much for me to keep track of. So I'm deleting that old email account for my past photography brand and starting anew- just like everything else in my life. So here it is! The new and improved blog! I will try to be more consistent with posting and perhaps I will start posting all my session sneak peeks here. That's not a promise - just a thought lol. Life with a toddler keeps me on the go and I don't like being in front of a computer more than I already am. Family comes first, as it should. So I hope that you will join me here for more beauty, babies and bellies to come! Thank you xo
